Position Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to take a leadership role to grow a high-visibility product family within Intersil’s Power Management Products Group. Reporting directly to the Product Line Director, we are looking for a driven, creative and energetic individual with the ability to identify and drive new product opportunities in the Power Management sector. This position requires strong verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated ability to understand and direct product development.  This person will also be responsible for the overall product strategy including the development of product roadmap via interaction with customer base, understanding of existing power IC portfolio and target applications to drive product definition, as well as engaging with the sales network to develop key customers and applications. Responsible for product pricing, margin management, and demand forecasting.

Responsibilities
•    Work closely with the applications, design and field sales/FAE teams to successfully define innovative products and work with a cross-functional team to coordinate and drive all aspects of product development through introduction in addition to product promotion and demand creation. 
•    Establish, coordinate and perform marketing activities to define future power management products for the automotive markets.
•    Provide strategic direction to the entire PL with new product definitions, product roadmaps & ways to increase customer design wins.
•    Translate customer’s technical requirements into new product definitions
•    Develop pricing that supports company and annual sales margin objectives.
•    Stay abreast of market conditions; develop recommendations for product and/or market development.
•    Responsible for managing inventory to meet PL turns goals.
-Support Sales Org and Customers to resolve PL technical issues.
Achieve Orders and Sales goals for selected product families.
Work closely with Sales Channels to drive demand creation.

Requirement

•    10+ years industry experience managing and driving business development initiatives along with strategic marketing efforts for a power management product line
•    Knowledge of Automotive Power train architectures and systems.
•    Knowledge of DC-DC power conversion for power management applications
•    Preferred skills: Power management experience with non-isolated point-of-load DC-DC power conversion.
•    Must possess excellent writing (i.e. data sheet, application note and technical articles) and presentation skills.
•    Travel worldwide required up to once per quarter to each of the following regions; Asia, Europe and within the US.
•    BSEE required, MSEE or MBA preferred.
