Event Introduction
The marriage of latest mobile technology and an evolving
healthcare demand drives the rapid market growth for mobile health.
Indeed, the revenues grow from $230 million in 2010 to $392 million
in 2015, according to research from Frost & Sullivan.
However, this market is still in the very early stages. It has
been noted that the product development and commercialization are
facing the challenges of new regulations from the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration (FDA). But the upside to FDA involvement in the market
could prevent health apps from unwarranted medical claims, safety and
privacy concerns and even intellectual property violation.
HYSTA Digital Health SIG and SVCWireless mHealth SIG have
invited  a group of subject-matter experts to present their
insights and advice about the challenges, and to discuss the possible
solutions for making a safe and robust healthcare system more cost
efficient. For more information, visit http://www.meetup.com/svcwirelessmeetup/events/61660652/
