About Speakers:

Joe (Ming Hsien) Yang
Mr. Yang has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunication technology industry; all with Chunghwa Telecom. Prior to holding his current position as President of CHT Global, Mr. Yang has held many leading roles developing Chunghwa Telecom’s global network, including the construction of submarine cables HT-2, GPT, SMW3, and TPE, as well as the implementation of new technologies like MPLS-VPN and Ethernet over SDH. As President of CHT Global, Mr. Yang is responsible for the expansion of Chunghwa Telecom’s global presence, as well as managing the domestic operations of the US subsidiary. 

Ian Ferguson
As Director of Server Systems and Ecosystem, Ian Ferguson is responsible for defining and implementing the strategy to open up the data center/server segment to ARM technology. Ian has over 22 years of experience in engineering, marketing and sales roles with the majority of his time focused on processor-based SoCs that targeted embedded applications. Prior to joining ARM, Ian worked as VP of Marketing at Enigma Semiconductor. He held product line management and strategic marketing roles at QuickLogic, IDT and Motorola.
