- Learns and uses current Service Desk ticketing system and support escalation procedures 
- Fields telephone calls and e-mail messages from customers who are seeking guidance on technical problems
- Works as member of support teams, helping to answer user questions, fulfill user requests, resolve technical issues 
- Assists in resolving reported issues in a timely and efficient manner; opens, tracks, and closes service tickets
- Assists in the management of user accounts for enterprise-wide software
- Works with Desktop Support, HR, and management to obtain information needed to establish, change, and terminate user accounts
- Assists IT management in drafting and posting appropriate department communications for standard IT maintenance and technology emergencies
- Work for the intern might also include: research and analysis, as-is process documentation, or administration of engagement activities (e.g., performing data analysis, creation of reports) in support of a project, prepare user training materials, plan and coordinate user awareness/application training events, etc.


The candidate should have a minimum of junior status with a major in MIS/IT/Markerting or related fields of study, good communication skills and excellect customer-service skills.
