Dr. Elizabeth Xu, is the CEO of Silicon Valley center of business education and innovation. She was the Group VP, Product Engineering at Acxiom, a big data and marketing company, where she has brought more than 15 years experience in building large-scale, mission-critical enterprise platforms, SaaS platforms and applications, Mobile platforms and apps. Prior to Acxiom, Elizabeth has been SVP of Product Development at Rearden Commerce, SVP of software development at RMS, and partner at Business Innovation Services. Her career also includes nine years at Vitria Technology as SVP of product development and corporate officer, as well as several years at IBM developing the IBM Content Management Suite and DB2. In the last few years, Elizabeth devoted her a lot of time elevating leadership skills in the technical community. She is currently teaching a course in the program of the Professional & Personal Development at Stanford University, "Ten Steps to a Successful Career", which provides building blocks for individuals who pursue meaningful careers. She is the founder of Successful Women Acceleration Network (SWAN) organization, helping younger generation ladies to become more successful.


Elizabeth was recently awarded with four Stevie Awards in the following categories:

Female Executive of the Year - Business Products - Large Company (Gold)

Female Executive of the Year - Consumer Services - Large Company (Bronze)

Mentor/Coach of the Year (Bronze)

Women Helping Women. (Bronze)

Elizabeth holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has earned an M.S. in Atmospheric Science and B.S. in Space Physics from Peking University. in 2013, she just completed Executive Education Program (SEP) at Stanford University.
